Receive tax benefits and make the most of your contribution by donating non-cash assets.

When you donate securities, you make an outsized impact without taking money directly out of your bank account. Stock donations can be up to 20% more valuable than selling the stock and donating the proceeds, and most donors can claim a tax deduction for the stock’s full value. Plus, neither you nor the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research will be taxed on the gains for appreciated assets you donate.

Contact your brokerage representative to transfer your securities directly to YIVO’s account. You will receive an acknowledgment for tax purposes once the securities are received.
