In partnership with the Leo Baeck Institute for the Study of German-Jewish History and Culture (LBI), and YIVO Institute for Jewish Research (YIVO), this teacher training introduces inquiry-based learning through rich primary sources drawn from world-renowned archives.
Discover how the Center for Jewish History (CJH) can help educators bring history to life through engaging, inquiry-based learning in partnership with the YIVO Learning and Media Center (YLMC) and the Leo Baeck Institute (LBI).
All resources are fully digitized and accessible, making it easy to integrate them into your teaching. Participants will also explore an exhibition on Theresienstadt as part of the day’s program.
Participants will:
- Earn 6 CTLE credits
- Explore innovative, inquiry-based teaching strategies
- Gain access to ready-to-use digital materials
- Experience a visit to a special exhibition on Theresienstadt
A light breakfast and lunch will be served.
